French immersion program with my family – 09/2025

Read the testimonial from Gerald, who stayed with us in Lyon last September with his wife Thais. He shares their impressions with you:

French immersion program by Gerald and Thais – September 6 to 12, 2025

We really loved our week staying with Hélène and Laurent. Hélène's teaching method was very good and just what we needed to improve our French. She always corrected our mistakes and the use of mirroring her laptop screen on to our tablet worked well. We now have the history of all the grammar areas we covered.

But it wasn't just the teaching that was so good, Hélène's food preparation was excellent, ably helped by Laurent of course. Each dinner was very well presented and tasted great!

Of course we mustn't forget the outings into Lyon centre when we were accompanied by Hélène. We managed the City Tour by bus ourselves, but Hélène gave us an excellent tour of Vieux Lyon, a shopping trip in the centre and on another day, a visit to the park, obviously speaking French with us all the time.

We cannot recommend the immersion program with Hélène highly enough.
