I spent 12 days with Helene and her family, and it was an amazing experience I will remember all my life. Helene’s family was so welcoming and patient as I struggled to improve my broken French. You really do become part of the family while you are there!

The lessons are comprehensive, and I feel that my oral comprehension, especially, improved. Helene was willing to work on what I felt were my weakest points, and never got tired of answering my numerous questions.

Seeing and learning about the history of Lyon was incredible! Helene is such a knowledgeable tour guide. We went all over the city and saw the top tourist sites, as well as some hidden gems. Each night ended with Helene’s amazing dinners, which were world-class.

I can’t recommend a language stay with Helene enough. Staying with her family is more than language classes. It is an all-encompassing experience, where cultural immersion, shared meals, and language acquisition come together to create lasting memories.
