We spent a week at Helene’s comfortable home during my daughter’s (12) midterm break and had the most enriching experience. We had 3 hours of French tutorial each day with Helene (who is a professional French teacher) and continued to practice the language over an engaged breakfast and dinner with her lovely family. Thru the questionaire we filled out before the experience, Helene catered everything to us. She also had wonderful recommendations of different places to visit in Lyon and also accompanied us to a few key sites. While Lyon is known as the gastronomic capital of France, we both looked forward to Helene’s delicious food each night! It was better than any of the restaurants we visited. While this was the second home stay I have done, it far exceeded my expectations and my daughter will be sure to come back again over the summer for more!!
